1. How do I use Miles on the go?
Download the Etihad Guest App and log in. Click ‘Card Store’ and link your UAE Visa credit card to your account.

All valid Visa cards with the exception of gift cards. 3. What if my card is cancelled or expired?
Your previous purchases and miles will still be credited but for future transactions, you’ll need to link a new card.
4. Are there any fees for linking a card?
No, there are no fees for linking your card and no extra fees during any transaction.
5. How can I refund a transaction?
The transaction will need to be refunded on the linked card that you have used for the purchase.
6. What happens if I return something I’ve bought with Miles on the go?
If you have selected to pay using miles, your miles will not be refunded but you may get cash back from the merchant.
If you have selected to earn miles, those miles will be re-calculated and the correct number of miles will be credited your account.
7. How do I redeem or earn miles?
Once you have linked your card, go to any of the merchants in the Offer section of the app and make a purchase above AED 50. If your card is issued in UAE, you will receive a notification asking you whether you like to redeem or earn the miles for that purchase. If your card is issued on any of other relevant markets (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Australia, India, Pakistan, Germany, France, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Egypt and Kazakhstan) you will get your miles automatically and will receive the notification with number of earned miles.
8. Why didn’t I receive a notification?
Notifications sometimes take a few days. To receive notifications, make sure that you have enabled notifications on your device.
If you haven’t received a notification, please email guest@etihadguest.com. Include a copy of the receipt, your Etihad Guest number and the last four digits of your card.
9. When will I receive the miles I’ve earned?
You will receive your miles within a few days.
10. How long does it take to get my cash back after a redemption?
A miles redemption transaction will debit your miles instantly, and your credit card will be debited within a few days.
11. How do I stop using Miles on the go?

Where can I earn Etihad Guest miles with Aldar Malls?
You can earn both Etihad Guest miles and Tier miles which contribute to your Tier status in any store in Yas Mall, WTC and Al Jimi Mall, collectively comprising over 650 retailers.
How can I choose to spend my Etihad Guest miles in Aldar Malls instead of earning miles?
If you have enough Etihad Guest miles in your account at the time of purchase, you will be prompted with a push notification to redeem your Etihad Guest miles instead of earning them. To spend your miles, your push notifications must be on to allow you to select the redemption option.
You will still earn 1 Tier mile for the value of every AED 3 spent above AED 50 contributing to your Tier status.
Are there any stores where I cannot earn or spend my Etihad Guest miles in Aldar Malls?
You can earn of spend your Etihad Guest miles in any of the 650 stores across Yas Mall, WTC Mall or Al Jimi Mall where you swipe your registered Visa Payment Card.
How many Tier miles will I earn?
You will earn 1 Tier mile per AED 3 spent on both accrual and redemption transactions.
Tier miles will be in awarded before the end of the following month after Etihad Guest miles have been awarded to or redeemed from your account.
Tier miles expire as per the Etihad Guest Tier levels noted on the Etihad Guest website.
Can I spend my Tier miles?
Tier miles account toward your Tier level, and cannot be used to for redemption transactions.
How many miles can I earn or spend in Aldar Malls?
You will earn 1 Etihad Guest mile and 1 Tier mile for every AED 3 spent on purchases above AED 50.
You can also earn Tier miles when spending your Etihad Guest miles for redemption transactions. You will earn 1 Tier mile for the value of every AED 3 above AED 50 contributing to your Tier status.
There is no limit to how many Etihad Guest miles you can earn or spend in a year, and you can earn a maximum of 20,000 Etihad Guest Tier miles within one calendar year from your first transaction.
How can I choose to spend my Etihad Guest miles for a redemption transaction?
To spend your Etihad Guest miles on a transaction, select the 'Redeem' option from the push notification within six (6) hours after the transaction was made. If you choose not to spend your miles you will earn Etihad Guest miles for the transaction instead.
You will earn 1 Tier mile for the value of every AED 3 spent above AED 50, contributing to your Tier status.
Tier miles will be in awarded before the end of the following month after Etihad Guest miles have been awarded to or redeemed from your account.

How long does it take to get my cash back after spending my Etihad Guest miles on a redemption transaction?
The redeemed monetary transaction amount will be refunded onto your registered Visa card used within 14 days after your redemption is confirmed.
Can I make a partial redemption spending miles and cash on my purchase?
Redemption purchases must be made in full with Etihad Guest miles. You will receive a push notification giving you the option to spend your miles if you have enough Etihad Guest miles in your account.
What happens if I want to return my purchase?
If you have returned your full purchase you will not earn Etihad Guest miles on this transaction. Partial refunds will earn a portion of the Etihad Guest miles and Tier miles.
Redemption transactions are not reversible and miles redeemed are not refundable.
How can I see my transaction details in the App?
Once logged in to the Etihad Guest app, you will be presented with the dashboard screen. Small text at the bottom indicates to “Swipe up to view transaction details”. By swiping the screen up you can see your transactions. By tapping on the “Filter” icon in the transaction screen you can filter your transaction by “Activity” and “Duration”.
Transactions made within one year will be displayed in the app. Transactions older than one year can be viewed when logging in to the Etihad Guest website.
How long will it take for miles to appear in my account?
Etihad Guest miles will be awarded within 24 hours for food and beverage, adventure activities and movie theaters, and 15 days for all other merchants, post Eligible Transaction.
Tier miles will be in awarded before the end of the following month after Etihad Guest miles have been awarded to or redeemed from your account.
Tier miles expire as per the Etihad Guest Tier levels noted on the Etihad Guest website.
What do I do if I don’t earn my Etihad Guest miles?
In case miles are not credited to your Etihad Guest account within a period of 40 days, fill the retro claim form for transactions within 6 months of purchase, submitting your membership number with a proof of purchase (receipt) made with your registered Visa card. The registration date of your Visa must be prior the date of purchase.
I have chosen to receive more offers from Aldar. What happens now?
If you have chosen to receive offers from Aldar you have provided consent to Etihad Guest to share your personal details and transactional information within Aldar Malls to Aldar.
Aldar will store your details as per their privacy policy, retaining your data to analyse customer behaviour and provide relevant offers to you on the contact details provided to Etihad Guest.
To remove consent, you can email guest@etihadguest.com or update your preferences in your Etihad Guest profile. Etihad Guest will cease to share your data with Aldar, and Aldar will refrain from communicating with you further.

15.1. General
Etihad Guest Miles on the Go is a program which will enable Etihad Guest members to earn or redeem Etihad Guest Miles on their everyday spend at Participating Partners (in stores or online). Any Etihad Guest member that links an Eligible Visa card to the program will be able to earn Etihad Guest Miles at Participating Etihad Guest Miles on the Go partners. Etihad Guest members can also redeem Etihad Guest Miles against Visa card transactions made with a registered Visa card at participating Etihad Guest Miles on the Go partner. All transactions and activities made via the Etihad Guest Miles on the Go program are subject to the Etihad Guest Terms & Conditions (please see Etihad Guest Terms & Conditions). In case of divergence between these Terms & Conditions and the Etihad Guest Terms & Conditions, the provisions of the Etihad Guest Terms & Conditions shall prevail. By participating in the Etihad Guest Miles on the Go Program, you agree to the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.
15.2. Definitions
Unless the context otherwise requires, the following definitions apply:
Eligible Visa card has the meaning set out in clause 4.
Eligible Transaction has the meaning set out in clause 3.
Participating Partner means a Partner who has been invited by Etihad Guest to participate in Etihad Guest Miles on the Go.
Minimum Purchase means any purchase made at a Participating Partner to the value as defined in the offer description within the Etihad Guest mobile app.
Personal data means any information relating to you as a natural person and through which you can be identified directly or indirectly, such as your name and Visa card information.
Etihad Guest mobile app means the mobile app located at APPSTORE PLAYSTORE provided by Etihad Guest LLC.
Etihad Guest Terms and Conditions means the terms and conditions located at https://www.etihadguest.com/en/terms-and-conditions.html
All other definitions will have the same meaning set out in the Etihad Guest Terms and Conditions.
15.3. Eligibility and Participation
To earn Etihad Guest Miles for purchases made with participating Etihad Guest Miles on the Go Partners, you must: be an Etihad Guest member, enroll an Eligible Visa card in the Etihad Guest Miles on the Go Program in accordance with the instructions located on the Etihad Guest mobile app under ‘Card Store’. Etihad Guest reserves the right to reject any enrollment at it’s sole discretion. Use your enrolled Visa card to pay for your Minimum Purchase in store at Participating Partners; and select Credit or the payWave option to complete your transaction (Eligible Transaction). To redeem Etihad Guest Miles against purchases made with participating Etihad Guest Miles on the Go Partners, you must: be an Etihad Guest member. enroll an Eligible Visa card in the Etihad Guest Miles on the Go Program in accordance with the instructions located on the Etihad Guest mobile app under ‘Card Store’. Etihad Guest reserves the right to reject any enrollment at it’s sole discretion. use your enrolled Visa card to pay for your Minimum Purchase in store at Participating Partners; and select Credit or the payWave option to complete your transaction (Eligible Transaction). Must allow push notification within your communication preferences and the mobile app settings have a sufficient Etihad Guest Miles balance to redeem the full amount of the Eligible Transaction select the “Redeem Etihad Guest Miles” option within the push notification within six (6) hours after the transaction was made the redeemed transaction amount and will be transferred to your registered Visa card that was used for the Eligible Transaction within fourteen (14) days after the redemption was confirmed. Redemption of transaction is not reversible, and miles are non-refundable. If push notifications are not accepted within your communication preferences or deactivated within your mobile app settings, you will earn Etihad Guest Miles for your Eligible Transaction by default. If your Visa card is issued by a non-UAE bank (but a by bank in the eligible countries), you will earn Etihad Guest Miles for your Eligible Transaction by default”. The redemption option must be confirmed within six (6) hours after the redemption option notification was provided otherwise Etihad Guest Miles will be earned. Etihad Guest obtain the right to reverse erroneous transactions at any time at its own sole discretion.
15.4. Eligible Visa card
An Eligible Visa card means an active payment card of the relevant Member, including but not limited to Visa Credit cards, Visa Debit cards and Visa Pre-Paid cards. The Eligible Visa card must be issued within the eligible countries. Eligible countries are: United Arab Emirates, Albania, Armenia, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Italy, Ireland, Ivory Coast, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan Province of China, Tanzania, Thailand, United States, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Zambia. For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Visa card does not include the following: a Visa-branded Gift card; or a Visa card that has expired, inactive, cancelled, stolen or is otherwise invalid at the time of making an Eligible Transaction. If you have linked your Eligible Visa card to an Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay application you will be able to use this application to complete your Eligible Transaction.
15.5. Linking your Eligible Visa card
You can enroll a maximum of five (5) Eligible Visa cards under ‘Card Store’ in the Etihad Guest mobile app. If you wish to change the cards, you have linked to Etihad Guest Miles on the Go program you must manually do this in your account in the Etihad Guest mobile app. Only you can register your cards, and by linking your card with your Etihad Guest Miles on the Go account, you represent and warrant that the authorized card holder and Etihad Guest Miles on the Go account holder are the same person and that the card holder is authorized to use the applicable card, make payments using the card and earn or redeem Etihad Guest Miles on the Go Points in relation to those purchases. It is your responsibility to ensure any card registered by you for the purposes of Etihad Guest Miles on the Go is a valid, Eligible Visa card and that the card details have been correctly entered to the card link page by you. If an Eligible Visa card which has been added to Etihad Guest Miles on the Go, expires, is cancelled, is suspended, stolen or is otherwise invalid, it is your sole responsibility to update those details to continue earning or redeeming Etihad Guest Miles. We will not retrospectively attribute Etihad Guest Miles to your account for transactions completed using an expired, cancelled, suspended or otherwise invalid card. Etihad Guest will not take any responsibility for fraudulent transaction made with your registered Visa card. With the registration of your Eligible Visa card Etihad Guest will obtain your express consent to authorize Visa, as Etihad Guests service provider, to monitor your enrolled Visa card transactions for Eligible Transactions.
15.6. Expired or Cancelled cards
Expired and cancelled cards will need to be removed manually from the Etihad Guest Miles on the Go program. You will need to re-link any new Eligible Visa cards you are issued. You can de-link your cancelled/suspended Visa card(s) by clicking on the ‘Delete card’ icon in ”Card Store” in the Etihad Guest mobile app. Expired cards that have been re-issued with the same card details will continue to earn Etihad Guest Miles and are eligible for redemption transactions. If you receive a replacement card from your Financial Institution and the credit card number has changed, you must link the new card with Etihad Guest Miles on the Go in order to earn or redeem Etihad Guest Miles for Eligible Transaction at Participating Partners. You will need to manually de-link the card that you are replacing and re-link the replacement card. You can de-link your cancelled/suspended Visa card(s) by clicking on the ‘Delete card’ icon in the ‘Card Store’ in the Etihad Guest mobile app.
15.7. Earning Etihad Guest Miles
Each Participating Partner will set their own Etihad Guest Miles earn rate. You can view the amount of Etihad Guest Miles you will be able to earn in the Offers section of the Etihad Guest mobile app. Etihad Guest Miles you have already earned can be seen in the ‘Activity history’ within the Etihad Guest mobile app. Etihad Guest Miles (excluding Etihad Guest Miles which have been refunded or reversed) will be awarded to your account within 40 days after you have completed an Eligible Transaction.
15.8. Redeeming Etihad Guest Miles
If you have activated push notification within your Preferences in the Etihad Guest mobile app and your eligible Visa card is issued in UAE, you will be provided with the option to redeem miles for Eligible transaction. The number of miles required to redeem will be displayed within the push notification. Redeemed miles will be deducted form you Etihad Guest account instantly and redemption transaction are not reversable. Refunded Eligible Transactions will not refund the miles redemption. The redeemed transaction amount and will be transferred onto your registered Visa card used for the Eligible Transaction within fourteen (14) days after the redemption was confirmed.
15.9. Earning Etihad Guest Tier Miles
You will earn Etihad Guest Tier Miles for earning and redemption of Etihad Guest Miles for purchases with eligible Miles on the Go partners. You can view the amount of Etihad Guest Miles you will be able to earn in the Offers section of the Etihad Guest mobile app. Etihad Guest Tier Miles will be awarded before the end of the following month after Etihad Guest Miles have been awarded to or redeemed from your account. Validity of Tier Miles are as per the Etihad Guest Tier levels noted on the Etihad Guest website. Total number of Etihad Guest Tier Miles, which could be acquired by the members for transactions with the Miles on the Go Program per one calendar year is described in the Offers section of the Etihad Guest mobile app.
15.10. Refunds and Reversals
If an Eligible Transaction is refunded or reversed within thirty (30) days of the Eligible Transaction being made, you will not receive Etihad Guest Miles for that transaction. For any partial refunds or reversals made within thirty (30) days of the Eligible Transaction, you will only receive Etihad Guest Miles for the portion of the transaction not reversed or refunded. Your Etihad Guest Miles will be pending throughout the thirty (30)-day refund period. Pending Etihad Guest Miles are Etihad Guest Miles you have earned that have not yet been allocated to your account. Pending Etihad Guest Miles will be made available in your Etihad Guest account after a period of up to forty (40) days from the date of purchase. Once these Etihad Guest Miles have been awarded you will be able to redeem them.
15.11. Checking your Etihad Guest Miles on the Go Transactions
You may view your Etihad Guest Miles on the Go transactions on the Etihad Guest mobile app or Etihad Guest website. Etihad Guest Miles available to redeem will appear on the under ‘Activity History’ on the Etihad Guest mobile app or website. Claim missing Etihad Guest Miles for Etihad Guest Miles on the Go transactions. In case miles will not be credited to your Etihad Guest account within a period of forty (40) days, you can raise a request under guest@etihadguest.com. It is required to submit your Etihad Guest membership number together with the proof of purchase (receipt) at a Participating Partner with your registered Eligible Visa card. The registration date of your Eligible Visa card must be prior the date of purchase. Request of missing Etihad Guest Miles will be validated and processed (if legit) within six (6) months.
15.12. Promotions
Etihad Guest Miles on the Go will run promotions from time to time. To find out more about the Etihad Guest Miles on the Go Promotions and Campaigns visit the Offer section of the Etihad Guest mobile app. Promotions run by Etihad Guest are subject to any promotion terms and conditions. You can find these Terms and Conditions on the Offers detail page.
15.13. Closing your account
Your participation in Etihad Guest Miles on the Go will continue unless you choose to close your Etihad Guest Miles on the Go account on the Etihad Guest mobile app or if the program is terminated. To opt out of Etihad Guest Miles on the Go, you must close your Etihad Guest Miles on the Go account or manually remove all linked cards. You can de-link your cancelled/suspended Visa card/s by clicking on ‘remove card’ in my account. If you cancel your Etihad Guest Miles on the Go account or de-link your Eligible Visa card, you will not be allocated any pending Etihad Guest Miles not awarded at the time of cancelation or de-linkage of the Eligible Visa card. Closing your Etihad Guest Miles on the Go account will not result in you cancelling your Etihad Guest membership.
15.14. Personal Data
Your participation in Etihad Guest Miles on the Go program requires us to process your personal data. To fulfil our commitment under these Terms & Conditions, it is necessary for us to process information that relates to you as a person.
To participate in Etihad Guest Miles on the Go you must register your Eligible Visa card. When you register your card, you will be asked to provide certain personal data to enable linking of your Eligible Visa card with your Etihad Guest membership number. This data includes credit card information and your Etihad Guest number. The provided data will be encrypted and we reveal only the last four digits of your payment card numbers.
Once your card is linked, your use of the card will generate additional data such as information about any transactions (purchases and returns) and geographical location of merchant where a transaction was generated.
Your use of Etihad Guest Miles on the Go as described above is voluntary and the processing of personal data is based on your consent, if you choose to provide it.
You can revoke your consent at any time by removing your Visa card on the Etihad Guest mobile app.
If your consent to Etihad Guest Miles on the Go is revoked, you will no longer be able to earn or redeem Etihad Guest Miles for transactions made on your Eligible Visa card.
Etihad Guest is the controller for processing your personal data in relation to the use of Etihad Guest Miles on the Go.
The Etihad Guest Miles on the Go service is provided and managed via a third-party service provider (Loyal Solutions A/S). The service provider acts as a processor in relation to its processing of your personal data and processes your personal data on behalf of Etihad Guest and for the purposes set out in this Section. Its processing is governed by a processing agreement between the third-party service provider and Etihad Guest that ensures your personal data is processed lawfully and securely as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of granting you Etihad Guest Miles or offering you the possibility to redeem Etihad Guest Miles for each Eligible Transaction made with your linked Eligible Visa card. Information about merchants names and addresses where your purchases have been made, may also be used for marketing purposes if you have chosen to provide your consent for this separate marketing communication processing purpose. The Etihad Guest Terms and Conditions apply to Etihad Guest Miles on the Go, including any previous decisions made by you in relation to direct marketing. For more information please visit Etihad Guest Terms & Conditions and your Communication Preferences on the Etihad Guest website or within the Etihad Guest mobile app. Finally, your personal data will be collected in a data-base which enables Etihad Guest to generate statistic on how many transactions and purchases a specific merchant has generated. This data will be analyzed on an aggregate level for the purpose of enhancing and developing the customer offering. These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between Etihad Guest and you are governed by UAE laws as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and laws of Abu Dhabi. By completing and submitting the enrollment into Etihad Guest Miles on the Go program, you are agreeing to comply with the exclusive jurisdiction of Abu Dhabi courts. If in any jurisdiction, the Etihad Guest program, the issue of Etihad Guest Miles or the redemption of any Reward is unlawful, then to the extent that the laws of that jurisdiction are applicable, the issue or redemption of Etihad Guest Miles or Rewards and any related documents are void. To the extent permitted by law: Etihad Guest disclaims or excludes any implied or statutory warranties. You understand and agree that we do not promise that Etihad Guest Miles on the Go will be operational on an ongoing basis, at all times or fault free; Etihad Guest will not be liable for any delay in or failure to deliver Etihad Guest Miles on the Go neither party will be liable to the other party for any consequential loss suffered or incurred by the other party arising out of or in connection with Etihad Guest Miles on the Go.
